Mumbai Indians, is an IPL franchise, owned by business tycoon Mukesh Ambani. MI is also the costliest franchise. BCCI franchised teams for a ten year contract in 2007. RIL group bought 112 million dollars. Sachin Tendulker is the icon player for them in the first season. They are the current champions of IPL. MI has won the most number of titles than any other team in history. Rohit Sharma is their current skipper. Srilankan, Mahela Jayawardena is their head coach.

Rohit Sharma is not part of Mumbai Indians. He represented Deccan Chargers in the initial days. Deccan Chargers won a title while Rohit is part of them. So technically Rohit is part of four IPL titles, most by any player. He was the captain in all Mumbai’s titles.

Mumbai were united, always stayed on top in 2017 edition. Though their skipper Rohit Sharma is not in a great touch, they won the title. Younger Mumbai Indians can be attributed to this Mumbai’s triumphant. Only team they struggled facing this season in RPS. But they won against RPS in the final to register a win on every other team in IPL. No one would have thought MI would win after losing 7 wickets for just 71 runs. Krunal Pandya’s heroics are responsible for this victory. Nitesh Rana, who played in the absence of Ambati rayudu, is an emerging player for Indian cricket team.
Whankade stadium,which can accommodate 33 k, is the home ground for Mumbai Indians. MI also won two champions trophy’s titles.
