KL Rahul moved 46 places up in test rankings

KL Rahul has escalated 46 places to reach eleventh rank in ICC test rankings. Prior to the start of the series against Australia, he was positioned at 57th place. Now, Only Kohli and Pujara are ahead of him in the ranking from Indian team. Aussie skipper Steve Smith still continues to be number one in test rankings. Indian spin duo Ravi Jadeja and Ravi Ashwin occupy first and second places respectively. Umesh Yadav climbed to his career best in Rankings table. He is currently at 21st position. in All rounders table, Jadeja pushed Ashwin to occupy second position. Star all rounder Sakhib ul hasan is still number one all-rounder table.

Dharmasala proved to be a class venue

Dharamsala hosted the final test between India and Australia. It was the first test hosted by Dharmasala. Yet it produced the best pitch in the series. It got all accolades from the greats of cricket, which includes Sourav and Steve Waugh. With the depletion of craze for test cricket, Dharamsala has managed to pull crowd to stadium. Steve Smith said that the series yielded a satisfactory result even they lost it. Sourav Ganguly credited Nathon Lyon for Aussies satisfactory Performance. Sourav said it is difficult to defeat India on home soil. He also said that his faith on KL Rahul is increasing day by day. Dharmasala pitch proved that Indian team doesn’t need turning pitches.

Kohli said that he didn’t refer entire Aussies on the post match conference of fourth test. He said that few Australian players who play alongside him in the IPL are still very good friends to him. He clarified that he referred only to few Aussie players. Kohli received Padma sri award from President of India on Thursday.
